Poisha (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Android application.

We collect the following types of information from users:

Phone & Password: Used for login and authentication purposes only.
Personal Finance Data: Includes income and expense records added by users, including any related text descriptions and timestamps.
Image Uploads: Users can optionally attach images (e.g., receipts or proof) related to transactions. These are stored securely and not shared externally.
Contacts: Accessed only if the user chooses to link transactions with phone contacts. We do not store or share this data with third parties.
Ad Data: We use Google AdMob to serve ads, which may collect user data to personalize advertising content, as per Google's policies.
Biometric Authentication: Used locally for security and user authentication. No biometric data is stored or transmitted.

2. How We Use the Information

The information we collect is used to:

Authenticate user accounts and provide secure login
Store and manage users’ financial data and related images
Display financial summaries and reports for user convenience
Link financial entries with contact names (if used)
Serve relevant ads using Google AdMob
Set and trigger alarms or reminders as per user input (e.g., due dates, reminders)

3. Data Storage and Security

All data including images and financial entries is stored in our secure online database using Firebase. We implement industry-standard encryption for both transit and storage. Only authorized systems have access to this data.

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services for certain features, including:

Google AdMob – for displaying in-app ads
Firebase Authentication and Firebase Database – for user login and data storage

No user-generated financial data or uploaded images are shared with third parties.

5. Data Deletion

Users can request account and data deletion by contacting us or visiting the Account Deletion Page. All personal data will be permanently removed from our systems upon request.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify users via the app or registered email address.
